More than just plastics

Plastic as a versatile material has become an important part of our everyday life. They surround us nearly everywhere and their variety in design, quality and technological possibilities has increased rapidly over the last years. The spectrum ranges from ordinary plastics to ultra-light-weight special plastics up to ultra-hard and space-tested materials. Recently, the industry tends toward an exchange of metal or glass in favor of lighter elements to reduce weights and costs.

One-shot and two-shot plastic injection molding

As a contract manufacturer for customers operating in various sectors, we produce complex plastic injected parts with one-shot or two-shot technology. Always on the side of the costumer, we develop constructive approaches, test their feasibility with fill-analysis (MoldFlow) before production and produce tailor-made forms in an in-house mold shop. This shortens the actual process of creating and producing an idea to a finale product. On customer demand, we also refine products or assemble complete systems. We process precise parts with weights from 0.1 g up to 400 g.

Plastic injection over-molding of glass

On the basis of our own patent, we can insert flat glass into the tool and overmold it with plastic. The glass can vary in thickness, which is compensated in the tool. A possible coating of the glass during the overmolding process is not damaged by the temperature curve calculated in advance. The manufacturing process was tested for series suitability with UV filters. The area of application ranges from sight glasses to medical substrate glasses to interior components in automobiles.

Metal substitution and hybrid parts

Due to rising raw material prices, our customers increasingly change their production from using high-cost metals toward less costly plastics with similar or even better qualities. We counsel you in finding an efficient solution to lower your costs for materials. Ranging from exchanging single components to a re-design of your products (hybrid parts) up to the complete material exchange - we have developed a wide range of technologies and methods to save you costs and material weights. Usually, our customers come from the automotive industry where products tend to become increasingly lighter.

Tool and form making

In-house tool and mold making is a key to successful product development. Together with our engineering department, we are able to quickly realize costumer ideas to optimized products. With our HSC milling center and the eroding machines, we manufacture very precise and complex tools that would not be possible with conventional cutting technologies.
