"We consider the 'Lange Nacht der Industry' as a great opportunity to publicly show what we are doing. A lot of Dresden residents still know PENTACON from the past and are curious what we are doing these days. We are always receiving requests if it would be possible to have a tour in our factory.", says Michael Bledau, CEO of PENTACON.
The event is patronized by the state capital of Dresden and the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce). The Hamburg based agency "prima events" is managing the complete event and successfully conducted several other "long nights" in all parts of Germany before.
"Dresden is not just the town of fine arts and architecture but has always been a driving factor for industrial innovation. The first single-eyed SLR, porcelain or the tea bag - there had been always smart people of Dresden and a lot of technology to invent such revolutionary products.", Bledau continues.
There is a press conference on April 11th 2012 at 12 p.m. at the PENTACON headquarter to promote the event. First mayor of Dresden Dirk Hilbert, president of the IHK Günther Bruntsch, PENTACONs CEO Michael Bledau and Jürgen Henke of prima events will present the "Lange Nacht der Industrie" and answer questions.
